We are seeking an experienced Evaluator, with knowledge of arts-based learning in schools, to lead and support the evaluation of a project, New Shores (November 2024 – July 2026).
New Shores is a locally-rooted creative partnership between ARCADE, KIT Theatre, Scarborough Museums & Galleries and four Scarborough schools, delivering a programme of arts-based learning. The schools include two mainstream primary, one Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) setting, and one Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). It is a two-year programme which aims to engage approximately 1,225 children and 12 teachers through 400 sessions. The overarching theme is ‘identity’ and ‘difference’.

ARCADE and KIT Theatre are keen to hear from performers/workshop facilitators to audition for a paid performer role as part of New Shores, a two-year arts-based learning project in schools.
We’re looking for a performer who will make in-character appearances in a local school and museum venue as part of a curriculum-linked adventure. Strong improvisation skills are essential as well as being confident in facilitating while maintaining character.

We are recruiting for a Street Artist with experience of creating artistic murals and working with young people, to work on a street art project in Tadcaster as part of the Now Then! Tadcaster programme.
The Street Art Mural Project will be a series of vibrant, celebratory pieces of art that celebrates Tadcaster and the community who live and work there. The project will take place across Spring 2025 and consist of three artworks in three community locations across the town.

Are you a great voice actor with the ability to voice different characters? Can you bring fresh energy to small amounts of dialogue every 30 minutes? Are you able to improvise with participants including young children and families?
Grue includes a small team of live actors who perform the role of a historian, as well as the voices of characters within the installation. Strong improvisation skills are essential, the ability to sing and previous experience working with children as a performer would be advantageous.
