A partnership between ARCADE & The Barn

Now Then! Tadcaster is a two-year programme of arts events and creative activities focused on working with young people. A partnership between The Barn and ARCADE, delivered as part of the Now Then! Selby Place Partnership.

About the Project

Over the next eighteen months we will be working with The Barn to deliver: A new youth theatre with the brilliant Thunk-It Theatre; A Young Producers scheme and a youth voice Podcast project; Street art mural project; Summer family fun day; Winter light trail and Workshops and commissions.

Street Artist Call Out

Deadline: 9am Friday 22nd November

Location: Tadcaster

We are recruiting for a Street Artist with experience of creating artistic murals and working with young people, to work on a street art project as part of this programme.

The Street Art Mural Project will be a series of vibrant, celebratory pieces of art that celebrates Tadcaster and the community who live and work there. The project will take place across Spring 2025 and consist of three artworks in three community locations across the town.

The Tadcaster Community

Now Then! is a new programme for Tadcaster, Selby and Sherburn, steered and developed by a partnership of community and cultural organisations. It will create joyful, memorable and authentic experiences which speak directly to the communities’ needs and aspirations.

We are really excited to be working on this, and we can’t make the work without the support of the Tadcaster community. There will be lots of opportunities to get involved - so please keep your eyes out for call outs, commissions and events!
