For creative people at any point in their career; whether a hobbyist wanting to start selling their work, a new graduate, a part-time professional or an established artist. It will also appeal to those in creative roles in the arts sector.
Gain wisdom from our experienced keynote panel, with creative artists Jess Thom and Toni-Dee Paul, and Danielle Daglan, Head of Culture at North Yorkshire Council. Addressing themes around working as a freelancer in the arts, wellbeing and access, and the distinct challenges of working in North Yorks and along the coast.
Workshop style sessions include marketing, budgeting, and fundraising, all led by specialists, including team members from the Stephen Joseph Theatre and ARCADE.
Whether you are an established, mid-career or emerging artist this event is designed to support you and your practice and connect you with others in and beyond your creative community.
Branding and project management workshops with the SJT staff.
A funding workshop with team ARCADE. All you need to write an ACE Project Grant.
A choice of three specialist panels (visual arts, music, theatre) with time for your Q&As.
Other workshop / talks / hands on practical workshops with top notch creatives - including public speaking, bitesize training, accountancy, ceramics, wellbeing…
The day ends with a friendly, low pressure networking hour. A chance to meet, connect and reflect with other creatives in a supported way.
All this AND a delicious buffet lunch from EAT ME.
